This one is a screen capture from my photo gallery. On my MacBook Pro A1707, the one that got stolen, mostly from Odessa.
This one is kind of funny because it is with that character Anton at "Mister Cat", and there is another photo there that shows all of my computer equipment, including that Meizu M3 phone that was stolen, sort of, along with much of my other computer equipment.
This one requires a little explanation. Lexo Turiashviili is a musician, or at least that is what he told me. I noticed him because we were both sort of walking aimlessly around on Kreschatyk Street in Kyiv, and because he had that Italian sweatshirt on. Like a idiot, I struck up a conversation with him, took a photo, and befriended him on FaceBook.
This one requires a little explanation also. That one is of some police from the local police department near Maidan. I was robbed at knifepoint by some person in the Metro because I had two SmartPhones on my person instead of the zero that he had. That happened after I gave them some money or cigarettes or both. I obliged by giving the "thief" my new Meizu M3 phone, and then I rounded up the police and helped them investigate the crime, which was really pointless because I never filed an insurance claim for that and they probably never filed a police report. They probably thought it is stupid to investigate a petty theft in the first place.
I have mixed feelings about what happened in Budapest, Hungary. That theft was sort of a blessing in disguise. I filed a police report with the Rendőrség (the Polizei in Budapest), and I still have a photograph of parts of that report. I filed an insurance claim and was grossly under-compensated for my losses, but I really lightened my load in terms of how much stuff I had to lug around, and that has been extremely helpful when it comes to walking probably close to 800 miles around Europe on foot.
